Reading:
We are reading and enjoying books about trees. ( We are learning about trees in our Science Unit!)
In our Scott Foresman series we our learning about retelling a story, characters within a story, and predicting what might happen next.
Jolly Phonics: We are almost finished with the first round of Jolly Phonics letter/sound introduction. We have been blending sounds and making words. Very soon, we'll revisit each letter, then the students will glue the letter and a picture clue into their notebook. This notebook will be called our "Jolly Phonics Sound Book". When we are finished this will be a fun way to review our letters and sounds.
Science: Properties and Trees
Social Studies: Friendship and Citizenship ( respecting others)
