All assignments are due the next school day unless otherwise stated.

At the 5th grade level students should not be spending more than 50 minutes on homework per night. If your child is having trouble with a particular assignment, please attach a note rather than frustrating both of you. Your child should be reading for pleasure everyday. The suggested amount of time is at least 30 minutes per day. Please encourage your child to read.

Fantasy book project information went home today (Thursday, Feb. 2nd). Students will be creating a hat to wear during the presentation. Studens should be sure to read the directions carefully. Use the directions and rubric on the backside as a reference while creating the hat & practicing the presentation.

1st issue of this year's Panther Paper is now available under the "Newsletter" link of the PD website.

On Friday, Nov. 18th your child brought home a yellow half sheet note about how to access the social studies textbook and activities for each chapter.

On Wednesday, November 2 your child was given information on their 2nd quarter book project. Book choices are due Monday, Nov. 14th.
