At the 5th grade level students should not be spending more than 50 minutes on homework per night. If your child is having trouble with a particular assignment, please attach a note rather than frustrating both of you. Your child should be reading for pleasure everyday. Fantasy book project information went home today (Thursday, Feb. 2nd). Students will be creating a hat to wear during the presentation. Studens should be sure to read the directions carefully. Use the directions and rubric on the backside as a reference while creating the hat & practicing the presentation.
